#3 NEWSLETTER: an autumn update

11/11/2010 1 comment

Dear RS100 sailors,

We thought it was about time for a quick update from RS100sailing.com.

The nights have definitely drawn in and the brave few foolhardy enough to come along the RS Last Shout Championship at Rutland SC this weekend are already toying with the idea of dusting off the drysuits.  Not surprising really- this weekend’s forecast looks good, well a decent breeze anyway, even if it’s a little parky.

We’ve got 3 races on Saturday, followed by another legendary all class RS Party in the evening that should see off the winter woes with some good racing and a  few beers.  Then if this isn’t enough, there’s a long pursuit race around Rutland on Sunday morning to blow away the cobwebs and pit the 100 against the rest of the RS sorority… we’ll expect some chatter from the other classes no doubt.

Dear Sailors,

Welcome to another edition of RS100sailing.com news.

We are sending this email out with a special plea to advance your entries for the RS100 Eurocup Event in St Raphael and the RS100 UK National Championship in Parkstone, Poole Harbour.

These events are designed for all RS100 sailors- irrespective of how long you have had your boat or how well you think you are doing in it currently.  The best way to learn, is to learn from other sailors!

In order to make these events the best possible they can, the respective organising committees need to have a steer on the number of entries.  If you do intend to sign up for either event, then please do not leave this to the last minute.  Your earliest confirmation of attendance will ensure a great event both on and off the water.
